Tour Overview
Your journey begins with a scenic drive through some of Cape Town’s most beautiful coastal suburbs, including Clifton and Camps Bay, where pristine beaches meet the dramatic Twelve Apostles mountain range.
Continuing along the coast, we visit the charming fishing village of Hout Bay before traveling along the world-famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the most scenic coastal routes in the world.
The tour then continues to the spectacular Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where towering cliffs, rugged coastline, and incredible ocean views create one of the most breathtaking landscapes in South Africa. Visitors can explore Cape Point and optionally take the funicular to the lighthouse for panoramic views of the peninsula.
On the return journey, we pass through the historic naval town of Simon’s Town where guests may visit the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach. The tour concludes with a scenic drive along the False Bay coastline through picturesque seaside towns before returning to Cape Town.

Departure from Cape Town
Your adventure begins with collection from your accommodation in Cape Town between 08:30 and 09:00, depending on your location. From the city centre we begin our scenic journey along the Atlantic coastline.
01Atlantic Seaboard Scenic Drive
The tour begins with a drive through the beautiful Cape Town City Bowl before heading along the famous Atlantic Seaboard.
Along the way we pass through some of Cape Town’s most stunning coastal suburbs including:
• Green Point
• Sea Point
• Clifton
• Camps Bay
Enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the dramatic Twelve Apostles mountain range on the other.
02Hout Bay & Chapman’s Peak Drive
Our first stop is the charming fishing village of Hout Bay, surrounded by mountains and ocean views.
Optional activity:
• Seal Island Boat Trip (approximately R130–R160 per adult)
From Hout Bay we continue along the breathtaking Chapman's Peak Drive, one of the most scenic coastal drives in the world.
The road winds along dramatic cliffs offering incredible photo opportunities overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
03 Noordhoek & Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve
After passing through the seaside town of Noordhoek, we enter Table Mountain National Park and continue to the famous Cape of Good Hope.
Here you will experience dramatic coastal cliffs, breathtaking ocean views, and the rugged beauty of the Cape Peninsula.
At Cape Point, visitors can:
• Walk up to the lighthouse
• Take the Flying Dutchman Funicular (approximately R115 return ticket)
• Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding coastline
Wildlife such as baboons, ostriches, and antelope are often seen in the reserve.
04Simon’s Town & Boulders Beach Penguins
The tour continues to the historic naval town of Simon's Town, located along the False Bay coastline.
Guests can optionally visit the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach, home to the endangered African Penguin.
There will also be time to explore the town or enjoy lunch at the harbour.
05False Bay Coastal Route
The return journey follows the scenic False Bay coastline, passing through several charming seaside towns including:
• Fish Hoek
• Kalk Bay
• St James
• Muizenberg
In Muizenberg, famous for its colourful beach huts and surf culture, there may be an opportunity to stop for photos and enjoy the seaside atmosphere.
